A dynamic team from NorDan UK Ltd, the Scandinavian timber window producer, got on their bikes to raise money for a children's charity in the Pedal for Scotland event, and raised the grand total of £2120. Pedal for Scotland goes from Glasgow Green through to Ingliston outside Edinburgh and stopped for lunch outside Linlithgow Palace, close to home for a few of the NorDan team members!
“The charity, called Hopscotch, gives underprivileged kids the chance of a holiday which they may never get otherwise,” said organiser Tracy Fyall who works in the accounts team at NorDan’s Wishaw office. “Myself and the twelve guys completed the run and the fundraising total to date is £2120.00 and so we managed to smash out target of £1500.00”
NorDan manufactures timber windows and doors in 8 factories in Europe with its headquarters in Norway. It celebrated 90 years in business this year, and has offices all across the UK, with head office in Wishaw and several of the senior management team hail from Linlithgow and Boness.
